Williams Park Zoo. Roger Williams Park Zoo opened
in 1872 and is the third oldest zoo in the United States.
The zoo features exciting live animal exhibits that pay

Polo Trail, Australasia, and Wetlands. Roger Williams Park

Providence Children’s Museum is a haven for experiments

illustrates the human mouth, animal teeth, and the tooth’s

Bank
of America City Center. Bank of America City Center
is the ice skating hub in downtown Providence. The public
outdoor skating oval is open daily throughout the winter
season for children and adults. Lessons and rental ice skates

Roger Williams Park Botanical Center. Explore
the beauty of botanical wonders at Roger Williams Park Botanical
Center in downtown Providence. The Botanical Center opened
in March 2007 and the largest indoor public garden in New

square feet and feature such surprises as a waterfall and
plant life from around the world. Environmental and horticulture
programs are offered to the public throughout the year.

& Wales University. Johnson & Wales University
in Providence, Rhode Island is the largest campus of the
Johnson & Wales University system. The Providence campus
was established in 1914 and is divided between two locations.

Roger Williams National Memorial. The Roger
Williams National Memorial park celebrates the life of Providence
founder Roger Williams. Williams, a proponent of religious
freedom, founded the colony of Providence in 1636 as a refuge

free from state restrictions. The Visitor Center at Roger
Williams National Memorial features a film about the history
of Williams and Providence, and other interesting historical
